I was shocked to see the news this morning. Death - it is inevitable - to all humans- but to hear that the "King of pop is dead" was unbelievable. It was like he can never die.
It was Michael Jackson due to whom I started listening to Western music. I remember seeing his Pepsi ad when I was a kid and loved the moon-walking the kid fan of MJ did. Then he moon-walks and collides with MJ. I didn't know it was MJ and who MJ was. Years later, I saw his music video on MTV ( In the closet ) and many others and became his fan. I recorded his videos from MTV on my VCR and tried to imitate that spin, moon-walk...His songs always urge me to dance. It never grows too old or over-played for my liking. I wanted him to come back with one album more with a bang. Alas, he is no more. It's a sad day.

Stock market rally
Stock market is once again up and touched 15K sensex yesterday. I don't know how long i' going to be up. But I am happy that I am closing the loss gap in my ULIP. I regret buying a ULIP and will surrender as soon as I am in good profit. Imagine paying money regularly and getting nothing except capital or may be less than capital after so many years which witnessed Stock market rally and bottom and again rally. I advise people to keep away from ULIP.

why did BJP lose ?
I asked my wife this question - "Why do you think BJP lost the election ?". Her answer was :- "I don't like people who say they are good because others are bad. Probably, others who voted also thought the same.". Thats so true. BJP had nothing to talk about in their campaign except making personal attacks on Sonia, Manmohan and Rahul and then the infamous speech by Varun. They did not talk about development. They wrongly projected Manmohan as weak and Advani as strong, when congress reminded them of Kandahar and parliament attack.
In the future elections, all parties should take a cue from this election. Start talking about poverty eradication, economy, infrastructure, development etc. Mandir-Masjid, Valentines day are no more issues. BJP or anybody will never win elections on these outdated "issues".

Jamendo - free music
I found this website that lets you hear, download, copy free music. If you are a composer, you can copy your music here so that people can listen/copy it free. I listened to some of the beautiful albums. One such is the Triplexity. Listen to this. It's really nice. I have now also added a widget of Jamendo.

Another stone attack
I suffered one more stone attack last Wednesday. Unlike previous ones this one was very very painful. I was rolling on bed and crying like a baby. It was so confusing. Just could not figure out what to do. Stone attack is one of the most painful experience a person can have and live with. It is considered to be more painful than even gunshot wounds, major surgery, broken bones and even childbirth.
Kalashree was in Mumbai and Onkar took me to hospital at late night. The pain killers gave me relief. 142/91 was my BP at the time of admission.

This is me at the hospital on the day of discharge.

Post-Marriage
Lot of people ask me this question esp. unmarried friends - How is married life ?
Well, what do I say ? It's difficult to define or say how is it ? But well if you ask me to hoose between married and unmarried life - I will choose married life. Is it too early for me to say that ? haha...probably...but I am loving it. Back from honeymoon about 1 month almost back, I am having nice time. She sleeps in my arms and wakes up in my arms. I think she is now already used to it. I wonder what she will do if she goes to her home for sometime. But at the same time I got someone who tells me do this, do that, I don't want this, I want this....hhmmm...sometimes it's pain...but a sweet pain...She has not changed a bit...Reminds me of this song from Dilli-6...dedeicated to her..
rehna tu
hai jaisa tu
thoda sa dard tu
thoda sukoon
rehna tu
hai jaisa tu
dheema dheema jhoka
ya phir junoon...

I am Married
Got Married day before yesterday. Kalashree was looking pretty. She is a very nice girl. Unlike me, she has lot more patience and is much more forgiving and caring in nature. I am happy to have her as my wife.
